Matthias Verginer is an Italian sculptor, whose work revolves around small ironic sculptures, as often as not featuring large women interacting in odd ways with (often odd) animals. I like this kind of work, both because it is impressive in its execution and because it has a glimer of humour in in its eye. I'm also very fond of art that features large women.
